New Delhi, April 20 (NationPress) - India and South Korea have engaged in discussions aimed at revitalizing and resuming negotiations for the enhancement of their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). In a post shared on the social media platform X, Goyal provided insights from his meeting with South Korea’s Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo, emphasizing that the conversations were centered around fortifying the bilateral economic relationship through renewed focus on the CEPA upgrade negotiations.
“I was pleased to meet Yeo Han-koo. We explored avenues to resume and revitalize the negotiations for the India-Korea CEPA upgrade, while also identifying potential for deeper cooperation in industrial sectors, green energy, and digital trade,” Goyal remarked.
