Mumbai, Jan 31 (NationPress) Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal stated on Saturday that India is optimistic about finalizing a substantial trade agreement with the United States "in the near future," while ongoing negotiations proceed alongside the recent agreement with the European Union.
In an interview with NDTV Profit, Goyal emphasized that India is in constant communication with its US counterparts and expressed confidence in reaching a deal, dismissing claims that the FTA with Europe could hinder discussions with Washington.
