In her message, President Murmu stated, "Throughout the past five decades, the Indian Coast Guard has been vital in defending our maritime interests, safeguarding our coastline, and ensuring maritime safety."

I commend the Indian Coast Guard for its steadfast dedication to national security and humanitarian efforts. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also expressed his warm wishes to the Indian Coast Guard on this significant occasion.
"The unwavering commitment demonstrated over the last five decades in safeguarding our maritime frontiers has secured the Indian Coast Guard a respected position within our nation's security framework. Its contributions to national security, maritime safety, and environmental protection have been remarkable, as the force continually enhances its capabilities and commitment to excellence," the Vice President remarked.
He further noted that as the force embarks on a new chapter in its history, entering its 'Swarnim Varsh' (golden year), he is "confident that its vision, expertise, and collaborative spirit will elevate India to greater heights in maritime security and global prominence."
Vice President Radhakrishnan wished the Indian Coast Guard "ongoing success, innovation, and excellence in its future endeavors."
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also shared a congratulatory note with the personnel of the Indian Coast Guard and their families.
He stated, "The Indian Coast Guard has consistently taken proactive measures to protect our coasts, counter illegal activities, and respond to natural disasters, significantly contributing to national security and maritime sustainability."
As the Indian Coast Guard celebrates its Golden Jubilee year, 2026-27, the Defence Minister expressed confidence that it will "continue to lead in maritime surveillance with advanced capabilities, innovation, and operational excellence."
