Hyderabad, Jan 24 (NationPress) The Income Tax Department has extended its investigations at the residence of the prominent producer Dil Raju for a fourth consecutive day as of Friday. A team of IT officials, led by a female officer, is continuing their search at the producer's residence, Ujas Villas, located in Jubilee Hills.

Known by his real name, V. Venkata Ramana Reddy, Dil Raju serves as the chairman of the Telangana Film Federation Development Corporation (TGFDC).

The IT department has concluded their searches at the home of Dil Raju's brother, who is also a producer.

The ongoing searches at the properties of Dil Raju and his family members are linked to the film productions 'Game Changer' and 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam'.

These two films, produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, have recently hit the screens.

'Game Changer', featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, premiered on January 10, 2025.

'Sankranthiki Vasthunam', which premiered last week during Sankranti, stars Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, and has turned into one of the highest-grossing films under the esteemed producer's banner.

The IT officials are scrutinizing financial transactions related to the filmmaking process, analyzing crucial documents such as balance sheets and income tax returns.

As part of their investigation, they examined bank lockers. On Tuesday, Tejaswini, Dil Raju's wife, was escorted to a bank where lockers were opened in her presence.

For the past three days, IT officials have also conducted searches at the renowned production houses Mythri Movie Makers and Mango Media.

Though the department has not released an official statement regarding the searches, it is believed they have detected a disparity between the revenues generated by some recent films and the income tax obligations.

The investigations at Mythri Movie Makers are related to the blockbuster 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', starring Allu Arjun, which reportedly grossed approximately Rs 1,500 crore.

Searches were also conducted at the premises of Mythri founders Naveen Yemeni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, along with CEO Cherry and other significant individuals associated with the top-tier production house. Additionally, on Wednesday, a raid was executed at the office of 'Pushpa 2' director Sukumar and other related properties.
