Chennai, Dec 17 (NationPress) Expressing her desire to move beyond traditional roles, actress Siddhi Idnani, who stars alongside Arun Vijay in director Krish Thirukumaran's highly anticipated action film, 'Retta Thala', emphasized her goal to demonstrate that women characters can be powerful and contribute significantly to films.
During the trailer launch event held by the film's producers, Siddhi revealed that she portrays a formidable character named Andre in the narrative.
"Andre is an empowering character. She possesses a clear purpose and serves as a pivotal force in the film. It's a privilege to portray such influential roles because, as an actress, I aspire to transcend mere appearances, dance, romance, and disappear. I aim to showcase that women characters play a vital role and add value to cinema," she expressed, extending her gratitude to director Krish Thirukumaran for entrusting her with such a significant role.
