Security forces have been conducting rigorous operations against terrorists in both the vicinity of the Line of Control (LoC) and the hinterland.

Recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah presided over a high-level security review meeting concerning J&K in Delhi. During the session, Amit Shah instructed the security forces to maintain zero infiltration and practice a zero tolerance policy towards terrorism.

Last week, in an attempted infiltration that was thwarted, five terrorists perished when one triggered a landmine, resulting in an explosion that killed them all.

In another anti-infiltration operation, terrorists opened fire on an army patrol near Rajouri close to the LoC. The army returned fire, effectively halting their potential infiltration.
