JD(U) Leader Critiques Kejriwal's Letter to CM Nitish as a Distraction from AAP's Shortcomings

Patna, Dec 21 (NationPress) JD(U) Working President Sanjay Jha launched a fierce critique against AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday. He stated that by addressing a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar concerning the Ambedkar controversy, Kejriwal is merely attempting to divert focus from the 'failures' of his party's administration in the national capital.

Jha asserted that Kejriwal's correspondence was a reaction to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks that 'exposed' the Congress, AAP's ally within the opposition INDIA coalition.

“The disrespect shown by Congress and its leaders towards Baba Saheb is unforgivable. The contributions that Nitish Kumar has made for Dalits and backward communities in Bihar, following the teachings of Baba Saheb, are beyond what you and your alliance could even envision,” Jha stated, ridiculing both Kejriwal and the INDIA bloc.

He encouraged Kejriwal to set aside his biases and adopt a more constructive approach towards the nation’s development, underscoring that India's Constitution is robust.

Intensifying his criticism of the AAP leader, Jha remarked: “During the distressing period of COVID-19, the Kejriwal administration abandoned residents of Bihar and Purvanchal at the borders.”

“Bihar residents were forced to trek back home while Nitish Kumar ensured their safety in camps and even transferred Rs 1,000 into their accounts,” Jha highlighted.

Challenging Kejriwal, Jha queried, “Has he nominated any Dalit or individuals from backward communities for the Rajya Sabha?”

“Conversely, when Nitish Kumar had the chance, he appointed Mahadalit Jitan Ram Manjhi as the Chief Minister of Bihar,” the JD(U) leader emphasized.

He also criticized Congress for failing to award the Bharat Ratna to Baba Saheb.

In his letter to CM Nitish, Kejriwal voiced his concerns regarding Union Minister Shah's comments about Ambedkar.
