The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee announced the JEE Advanced 2026 results on Sunday, ending days of anticipation for engineering aspirants nationwide. Of the 1,87,389 candidates who registered, 1,79,694 appeared for both papers held on 17 May. A total of 56,880 candidates qualified, including 10,107 female students — a pass rate of roughly 31.7% among those who appeared.

The examination was conducted in two sessions: Paper 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 from 2 pm to 5 pm at centres across India.
