Jaipur, April 21 (NationPress) The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revealed the results for JEE Main 2026, where Kabir Chhillar has achieved an outstanding All India Rank (AIR) 1 by earning a flawless score of 300 out of 300. A dedicated classroom student from Kota, Kabir has been rigorously preparing for this examination over the last two years. He previously attained a 100 percentile in the January session, showcasing his consistent excellence.
Hailing from Gurugram, Kabir attributes his remarkable achievement to focused study habits, a solid understanding of concepts, and the invaluable support from his teachers and family.
“The key to success is working diligently in the right way. I concentrated on grasping concepts, created concise notes, and ensured I revised frequently,” Kabir stated.
Other notable achievers in JEE Main 2026 include Yashvardhan Kadwasra (AIR 11), who is from Sri Ganganagar. He combined self-study with online coaching to prepare for the exam. Yashvardhan credited his success to persistent effort and strategic preparation.
Currently, he is gearing up for JEE Advanced, hoping to secure a spot at an IIT. Yashvardhan dedicated around 8 hours daily to self-study and complemented it with online coaching from two different institutes, managing to achieve a top rank without spending excessive time in physical coaching centers.
His father, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Kadwasra, is the Professor and Head of the Department of Botany at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Government College, Sri Ganganagar, while his mother, Suman, serves as the Principal of the Government Girls' Senior Secondary School, Sawantsar.
Additionally, his elder brother, Aditya, ranked 54th in the NEET examination and is now in his fourth semester of medical studies at AIIMS Delhi. His brother's accomplishments inspired Yashvardhan significantly as he immerses himself in preparation for JEE Advanced with aspirations of entering an IIT. The JEE Main was conducted in two sessions, January and April.
Alongside the announcement of the All India Ranks for JEE Main, the NTA has also disclosed information about the 2.5 lakh students who qualified for JEE Advanced.
The number of students achieving a 100 percentile across various states and Union Territories has also been released.
In the previous year, 2025, a total of 24 students attained a perfect 100 percentile, with Rajasthan leading the way by producing the highest number of top scorers, totaling 7 students in JEE Main 2025.
Rajasthan continues to excel in national-level engineering entrance examinations, having recorded the highest number of students with a 100 percentile last year. These qualified candidates are now set to compete in JEE Advanced, the pathway to premier engineering institutions, including the IITs.
