Job Creation Under CM Bhajan Lal Sharma's Administration, Claims Former Rajasthan LoP

Jaipur, Dec 20 (NationPress) Senior BJP leader and ex-Rajasthan Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rajendra Rathore asserted that job opportunities have been established under the governance of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, while highlighting the corruption that occurred during the previous Congress administration in the state.
In addition to LoP Rathore, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa and State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara shared key insights regarding Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's inaugural year in power at a press conference held at the BJP state office on Thursday.
The event, themed "One Year of Excellence," emphasized the achievements of the BJP government and addressed critiques from Congress.
BJP leader Rathore remarked that Bhajan Lal Sharma's government has implemented schemes that benefit every segment of society, leaving Congress leaders feeling uneasy.
He pointed out that over 3.5 lakh individuals were present at the government's anniversary celebrations in Jaipur, commending its initiatives, while Congress attempted to distract public attention through minor protests and misleading narratives.
Rathore emphasized that the populace has dismissed Congress's efforts to mislead during the recent general and by-elections.
Taking a jab at State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, Rathore reminisced about the failures of the former government, including the notorious 34-day confinement of MLAs in a hotel.
He noted that under Dotasra's leadership as the state Education Minister, teachers had protested against corruption.
In contrast, the BJP administration has taken robust measures against the paper leak mafia, ensuring job allocations based on merit, he mentioned.
Rathore also extended an invitation for an open debate to Dotasra, asserting that the BJP government has laid the groundwork for projects worth over Rs 1 lakh crore and is steering the state's economy towards a $350 billion goal.
Deputy Chief Minister Bairwa emphasized that Chief Minister Sharma's leadership is in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.
Within just four months of assuming office, the government organized the Rising Rajasthan Summit, which led to memorandums of understanding totaling more than Rs 35 lakh crore with representatives from 32 nations, according to Bairwa.
He announced that these investments are poised to create job opportunities and bolster the state's economy.
The government has streamlined processes for investors through a single-window system and designated December 10 as Pravasi Diwas to honor migrant workers.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Godara praised the BJP government's welfare initiatives, including budget provisions for road development in every legislator's constituency.
He criticized the previous Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government for its lack of action and highlighted significant BJP projects such as the construction of new 33 KV GSS stations and the establishment of animal care centers.
Godara credited the Chief Minister's micro-monitoring system for ensuring the effective execution of schemes, benefiting 12 lakh new food security recipients, including two lakh differently-abled individuals.
He also provided details about ongoing campaigns aimed at achieving e-KYC compliance and incorporating more disadvantaged individuals into welfare programs.
Beginning January 1, the BJP-led state government will initiate efforts to add new beneficiaries to the food security scheme, he stated.
Moreover, the increase in support prices for wheat and the issuance of over 96,000 agricultural connections and 4.64 lakh domestic connections were emphasized as examples of the government's commitment to farmers and rural development, Godara added.
The inaugural year of Chief Minister Sharma's government was celebrated as a transformative period for Rajasthan, he concluded.
The press conference wrapped up with BJP office in-charge Mukesh Pareek, state party spokesperson Pankaj Meena, and state media co-convenor Mehraj Chaudhary expressing confidence in the government's ongoing success.
