Bengaluru, June 4 (NationPress) The state of Karnataka, particularly the vibrant city of Bengaluru, was filled with exuberance as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clinched victory in the IPL 2025 final match late Tuesday night. Fans celebrated by setting off fireworks and flooding the streets, reveling in the triumph until the early hours of Wednesday.

In various pubs, bars, and restaurants, supporters donned their RCB jerseys and caps, cheering for their team’s exhilarating win as fireworks lit up the major roads of Bengaluru.

Karnataka's Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, commended RCB, stating, "A huge congratulations to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for a remarkable IPL victory. Our dream has come true - Ee Sala Cup Namde. This victory, from thrilling performances to unwavering spirit, has ignited Karnataka’s pride and brought joy to fans worldwide."

He added, "The RCB players, with their cohesive team efforts throughout the tournament, have fulfilled the aspirations of millions today. This win is a testament to Virat Kohli's 18 years of dedication, loyalty, and commitment. Each RCB player has showcased champion-level performance in bowling, batting, and fielding. This is a historic day for us... At last, the cup is ours," he expressed.

Siddaramaiah watched the IPL final on a tablet from HAL Airport in Bengaluru, just after returning from a tour in Gadag district.

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar also congratulated the RCB team for their stunning victory over Punjab Kings in the T20 final, sharing his heartfelt wishes and exclaiming, "This time, the cup is ours!" He celebrated enthusiastically while watching the match on a TV in Bengaluru.

In a media statement, he praised how Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli's team fulfilled the dreams of Karnataka on this momentous occasion.

Union Minister and Janata Dal-Secular leader, H.D. Kumaraswamy, also congratulated RCB for their thrilling IPL win, expressing joy through a media statement, saying, "This time the cup is ours." He applauded Patidar's team for their spirited performance and extended special praise to veteran player Virat Kohli.
