Mysuru (Karnataka), Sep 13 (NationPress) Regarding the debate surrounding the Mysuru Dussehra inauguration led by International Booker Prize laureate Banu Mushtaq, Karnataka's Chief Minister Siddaramaiah commented on Saturday that the issue should be resolved through legal channels. He emphasized that the Dussehra festival is a cultural celebration that embraces participation from individuals of all faiths, asserting it does not belong to any single religion.
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, CM Siddaramaiah remarked, "Culturally, people from various religions come together to celebrate the Dussehra festival. It is a statewide celebration, open to all communities and castes."
He also warned that if former BJP MP Pratap Singh attempted to disrupt peace, law enforcement would take appropriate measures.
When asked about perceived delays in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry into the Dharmasthala incident, the Chief Minister asserted that there were no delays. "The SIT operates independently, and the government is not interfering. To my knowledge, there is no unnecessary delay," he stated.
Addressing the FIRs lodged against BJP MLC C.T.
