Key Takeaways
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), April 15 (NationPress) A group of Congress representatives from Karnataka visited the magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday, expressing their admiration for its construction. They characterized their experience as both emotionally uplifting and spiritually rewarding following their darshan of Lord Ram.
Karnataka Congress MLA T.B. Jayachandra shared with IANS that the delegation felt privileged after participating in prayers and rituals at the temple.
“Experiencing the darshan of Lord Ram in Ayodhya fills us with joy. There exists a profound sentimental connection between Karnataka and Ayodhya. While Lord Ram is associated with Ayodhya, it is believed that Lord Hanuman originated from Karnataka, thereby forging a strong emotional tie between the two regions,” he stated.
Jayachandra emphasized that visiting the temple was an unforgettable experience for all delegation members. “It was indeed a blessing to witness Lord Ram. The temple’s unique design and stunning architecture left a lasting impression. We hope to return to this temple many times,” he remarked.
The group consisted of approximately 15 legislators and distinguished leaders, including both former and current ministers.
Highlighting the connection between Karnataka and the temple, Jayachandra noted that the idol of Ram Lalla was crafted by the esteemed artist Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, Karnataka. Additionally, the stone used for the idol's creation was sourced from Karnataka, further enhancing the emotional link between the state and Ayodhya.
“The Ram Temple has been constructed in a remarkable manner, fusing traditional elements with cutting-edge architecture,” he mentioned.
Another Karnataka Congress MLA, Ashok Pattan, shared similar sentiments, commending the temple's grandeur and intricate craftsmanship. He remarked that the visit represented a proud and spiritual occasion for the entire delegation.
