New Delhi, Oct 5 (NationPress) Senior Congress figure Udit Raj launched a fierce critique against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, labeling him a “habitual liar” and claiming his party acts as the BJP's “B-team”.

Raj's comments followed Kejriwal's firm declaration that there would be no partnership with the Congress for the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, asserting, “There will be no alliance with the Congress under any circumstances.”

Kejriwal dismissed rumors that some AAP members in Goa were amenable to collaborating with the Congress ahead of the elections. Addressing reporters after inaugurating a party office in Mayem, 16 km from Panaji, Kejriwal stated the Congress party had “let down and deceived the people of Goa the most.”

He accused the party of acting as a “wholesale supplier of MLAs to the BJP,” questioning, “Can the Congress assure Goa voters that its legislators won’t defect to the BJP in the future?”

In response, Udit Raj remarked to IANS, “He is a great liar. The party that emerged from the BJP and RSS is not to be trusted. Everyone knows his transition from an NGO to a political entity was facilitated by the BJP and RSS. He is indeed BJP's ‘B-team’.

Raj reiterated Kejriwal’s reputation as a “habitual liar,” accusing AAP of lacking “morals” and making insincere promises for political advantage.

“He claimed he wouldn't require security and would engage with the people of Delhi freely. However, he later accepted security from both Delhi and Punjab. He constructed a mansion based on falsehoods. He even vowed on his children that he would never form an alliance, yet he did. He lacks integrity,” Raj asserted.

The Congress leader further accused Kejriwal of utilizing funds from the alleged liquor scam to support AAP's campaign in the last Goa Assembly elections.

“He contested the Goa elections using money from the liquor scam. The Goan populace is astute and will uncover the truth. Even the CBI discovered how the funds were transferred. They exploited the people in Delhi and campaigned in Goa. Now they claim they will develop Goa -- they will exploit the residents there as well,” Raj added.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal escalated his criticism of both the BJP and Congress in Goa, accusing them of colluding in exploiting the state's resources. He remarked that for the past sixty years, merely 13 or 14 families have controlled the government and its operations.

“These two parties campaign for their families and to plunder Goa, rather than for the citizens' welfare,” he stated, emphasizing that “both are united in misappropriating state assets. They profit collectively while deceiving the populace.”

The AAP leader maintained that despite Goa's wealth in resources, its residents continue to endure due to inadequate infrastructure and insufficient basic necessities like hospitals, schools, and roads. “These public concerns can be resolved with public funds; however, that money now enriches these two parties,” Kejriwal claimed, urging Goans to rally for systemic change in the upcoming elections.
