Kottayam (Kerala), Feb 28 (NationPress) - In a heartbreaking event, a woman from Kottayam, Kerala, along with her two daughters, took their own lives by jumping in front of a fast-moving train close to their residence in the Ettumanoor area early on Friday, according to local authorities.

The incident, which transpired around 5:30 a.m., was reported after the locomotive pilot of the Nilambur-bound Kottayam–Nilambur Express notified the railway officials and the police.

The pilot mentioned that he saw three individuals on the tracks and honked repeatedly, but they did not move.

Upon arrival, the police identified the victims through footage from a nearby CCTV camera.

The deceased included Shiny, aged 43, and her daughters Aleena, 11, and Evana, 10.

Shiny, who worked as a nurse, was undergoing divorce proceedings with her husband, Noby, at the time of this tragic occurrence.

She also has a son attending a Sports School in Ernakulam.
