The district is rapidly bridging the gap with other areas in the state across various indices, leading to a sense of relief among residents as they observe significant improvements in recent times.
Health and Education—two critical indicators of quality of life—have witnessed advancements here, and locals express gratitude to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for prioritizing growth and development.
In conversations with IANS, several medical students and patients expressed their satisfaction with the current health infrastructure, praising the Nitish government.
MBBS student Raja Babu noted that doctors are readily available in the hospital, providing prompt attention to patients.
Another medical student, Khushi Kumari, remarked, "The college is well-equipped with medical facilities, and the doctors are commendable."
Riya Das commended both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for fostering a supportive environment for medical graduates.
While many medical students appreciated the basic amenities at the hospital, a portion of patients voiced concerns about the insufficiency of certain services.
Tausif Raza, a patient's brother, stated, "The doctors are competent, treatment is effective, and we have access to all necessary facilities without any issues."
Mohammad Tanveer Alam, currently receiving treatment at a government hospital, shared, "The facilities are excellent, and I am being given proper attention and medical care."
Manzar Alam, spouse of a patient, expressed, "The treatment in the city is satisfactory, everything at the hospital is in order. However, politicians vanish post-elections, and the public desires change."
As the constituency prepares for the second phase of the Bihar elections, the advancements in medical services will be a crucial consideration for many voters, alongside the political parties' efforts to appeal to the minority vote bank.
