Patna, July 28 (NationPress) Prashant Kishor, the architect behind the Jan Suraaj party, has escalated his criticism of both the ruling and opposition parties in Bihar during a notable public rally held at Gandhi Maidan in the Makhdumpur block of Jehanabad district on Monday.
As part of his ongoing Bihar Badlaav Yatra, Kishor addressed a significant audience and later engaged with the media, directing his fire at both the Nitish Kumar-led government and the Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav regarding alleged financial discrepancies outlined in the CAG report.
He criticized the state government for its lack of response to the disappearance of Rs 70,000 crore from state accounts, as highlighted by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG).
“According to the CAG, Rs 70,000 crore intended for Bihar’s underprivileged is unaccounted for. The government has no explanation, and even Tejashwi Yadav is quiet since Rs 17,000 crore of this amount went missing during his time as Deputy CM,” Kishor stated.
He further accused the RJD, JDU, and BJP of being involved in corruption, asserting: “Sab nange hain is hamaam mein (Everyone is naked in the bathhouse).”
Kishor praised the Supreme Court's directive to the Election Commission to accept Aadhaar as identification for voter enrollment, calling it a step forward for universal voter inclusion.
“Now, 99.99 percent of individuals should be on the voter list. If anyone’s name is still absent, we urge people to reach out to political parties and community leaders for assistance,” he said.
In response to the controversial audio clip involving RJD MLA Bhai Virendra and a Panchayat Secretary, Kishor connected it to the state’s lawlessness during previous RJD administrations.
“He (Bhai Virendra) is associated with the gun party. During their governance, Bihar earned a reputation for gun production, kidnappings, and extortion. If they regain power, the same old 'jungle raj' will return,” Kishor warned.
Throughout his rally, Kishor made a series of ambitious promises focused primarily on the youth, senior citizens, and impoverished families.
