Bengaluru, Oct 31 (NationPress) Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has been hospitalized in Bengaluru due to a viral fever.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah paid a visit to Manipal Hospital on Thursday to check on the Governor's condition and expressed his wishes for a swift recovery.

The Governor had recently returned from Madhya Pradesh, where he participated in various events.

It is believed he might have developed a high fever as a result of fatigue.

Initially, he was admitted to a private hospital located on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru.

For advanced treatment, he was later transferred to Manipal Hospital, where he is currently receiving care.

A discharge from the hospital is expected soon.

Governor Gehlot was admitted two days prior to this update.
