Among the injured, 14-year-old Manish Kashyap and 13-year-old Lokesh Kumar sustained serious burns and were immediately taken to the district hospital for medical care.
One of the victims regained consciousness after a brief period, but the health status of the other two remains critical, according to police reports.
In light of this incident, the Chhattisgarh Meteorological Department has issued a three-day alert for storms and heavy rains affecting 31 districts, including Raipur, Durg, and Bilaspur.
