Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Surprises Night Shelters with Late-Night Visit in Bhopal

Bhopal, Dec 28 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, made an unexpected visit to several night shelters located in various areas of Bhopal during the early hours of Saturday, where he spoke with the individuals residing there.
This surprise assessment took place at Yadgar-e-Shahjahan Park in Bhopal, where the CM inquired about the conditions of those taking refuge there.
He also handed out blankets to all, ensuring they were warm during the chilly weather.
Among those he conversed with were Karodilal Prajapati, Hashib Khan, Sanju Kushwaha, Ravi Sharma, and Pratap Malviya.
The Chief Minister assessed the facilities at the night shelters and provided essential guidance to the officials.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), during the discussions, the residents expressed that the arrangements were adequate but recommended that food services should be introduced.
In response, CM Yadav directed the Bhopal administration to establish a 'Ram-Roti' food service across all night shelters.
The Chief Minister emphasized that not a single individual should go hungry at these shelters.
As per the CMO's statement, Pratap Malviya mentioned that he frequents the shelter every few days since he lacks a permanent home and needs to care for his four daughters. The Chief Minister ordered the Collector to extend all possible support to him.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister proceeded to the night shelter situated near platform number 6 of the Bhopal railway station.
After evaluating the night shelter, he engaged with the people present and distributed blankets to them as well.
While leaving the night shelter, the Chief Minister spotted a group of women near platform number 6.
He halted his vehicle, approached them, and inquired about their situation. The women explained that they were selling vegetables and intended to spend the night outdoors.
Worried for their well-being, the Chief Minister provided them with blankets and instructed the Collector to arrange for their accommodation.
He reiterated that the primary goal of his administration was to assist every individual in society.
“Our priority is that no one should face any trouble in this cold weather,” Yadav stated.
