Bhopal, Dec 6 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav executed an unexpected visit to the Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital and Research Center (JNHRC) in Bhopal, officials disclosed on Friday.
The CM arrived at the hospital late on Thursday night, where he engaged with multiple cancer patients who were receiving treatment and inquired about their well-being. He also assessed the medical services available to the patients.

A press release from the Chief Minister's office indicated that during the inspection, CM Yadav announced that the state government would cover the medical expenses for a patient named Tara Pandey.
Pandey, who hails from Sidhi district, belongs to the economically disadvantaged segment of society. The CM further directed the doctors to expedite the process for the required financial assistance.
CM Yadav emphasized that the state government will provide financial support to cancer patients classified under the economically weaker section (EWS). He urged the staff at JNHRC to ensure the completion of the procedures to access this financial aid for eligible patients.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment to delivering superior treatment to individuals suffering from cancer and other severe ailments. "The government has been attentive and has ensured all necessary facilities for enhanced treatment for the populace. Where needed, arrangements have also been instituted to transport seriously ill patients to larger medical establishments via air ambulance," he stated.
Moreover, he instructed the medical personnel to utilize Air Ambulance services to transfer critical cancer patients to alternative hospitals if required. The state government has initiated an air ambulance service aimed at airlifting critically ill patients and injured individuals to hospitals.
As part of the air ambulance service, helicopters are stationed across all districts in the state, staffed with specialized doctors and paramedics. These helicopters are equipped with ICU facilities to cater to seriously ill and injured patients.
"The state government is devoted to ensuring enhanced health services for patients. No individual should be deprived of treatment due to financial constraints. The government will cover the medical costs for impoverished families," asserted CM Yadav.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the government has arranged for complimentary testing and medication in public hospitals. By distributing Ayushman cards throughout the state, citizens are receiving treatment facilities for various health issues.
