Bhopal, Feb 4 (NationPress) The national general secretary (organisation) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), B. L. Santhosh, visited Bhopal on Wednesday and convened a meeting with state party leaders to discuss the current awareness campaign regarding the Union Budget and the VB-G Ram G Bill.
Upon his arrival at the BJP state headquarters in Bhopal, B. L. Santhosh was greeted warmly by party workers and officials, including the state in-charge, Mahendra Singh.
During the meeting, B. L. Santhosh emphasized the importance of the budget awareness initiative and the state team involved with VB-Ramji at the BJP state office.
As per the Madhya Pradesh BJP media cell, Mahendra Singh also participated in this important discussion.
Before leading this significant meeting, B. L. Santhosh visited a private hospital to check on the health of Hitanand Sharma’s mother, the former Madhya Pradesh (organisational) general secretary.
Hitanand Sharma's mother is currently in serious condition and receiving treatment at a private medical facility in Bhopal. Santhosh’s visit has been interpreted as a supportive gesture within the organization.
It is noteworthy that Hitanand Sharma, who previously held the position of state general secretary (organisation) for over four years, has been reassigned to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
He is now the head of the RSS’ Boudhik Prokosht regional office in Jabalpur, having been tasked with responsibilities in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. This decision was made during a recent RSS meeting in Indore, as reported by sources to IANS.
Sharma has had a long association with Vidya Bharti and was initially appointed as co-organisational general secretary of the state BJP in 2020 when Suhas Bhagat served as the organisational general secretary.
Additionally, the RSS has made three other appointments: Surendra Mishra, a pracharak, has been moved to the Purv Sainik Seva Parishad; Mukesh Tyagi, another pracharak, has joined the Grahak Panchayat; and Brijkishore Bhargava has been named the regional Gau Seva chief.
