How is MP BJP Preparing for PM Modi's Bhopal Event on May 31?

Bhopal, May 24 (NationPress) The President of the Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), V.D. Sharma, in collaboration with State party in-charge Mahendra Singh, convened a meeting to evaluate the party's readiness for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Bhopal on May 31, as reported by party sources.

During the meeting, which took place on Friday at the party headquarters, the BJP leaders devised a comprehensive strategy and delegated specific responsibilities to various individuals and groups.

They also assessed the preparations of different party units assigned specific duties in light of the event.

State BJP President Sharma emphasized that the theme of the program is the "empowerment of women". Women will play pivotal roles in organizing aspects such as seating arrangements for attendees, venues for cultural activities, provisions for drinking water, food, seating, entrance protocols, pass distribution, and welcome arrangements.

Sharma noted that the state party unit has compiled a list of active women workers from all 31 mandals of Bhopal to lead these teams.

These women will consist of members involved in BJP's booth committees, Mandal committee, councillors, and other women engaged with the party.

“We are fortunate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bhopal on May 31 to celebrate the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. All Bhopal workers are gearing up for his grand welcome and the event's splendor,” Sharma remarked following the meeting.

The event is being organized to honor the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, the celebrated queen of Malwa.

Over two lakh women from various sectors across Madhya Pradesh are anticipated to attend the event.

Notably, this will mark PM Modi's first visit to Madhya Pradesh since the Operation Sindoor, executed by Indian armed forces that dismantled terrorist camps in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir and Pakistan as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

In 2021, from the same Jamboori Maidan near Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), PM Modi addressed a large gathering of tribal communities and announced over a dozen tribal-focused initiatives in honor of the legendary freedom fighter Birsa Munda's birth anniversary.

This time, the event will be centered around women, during which the Madhya Pradesh government plans to announce several women-focused initiatives, showcase existing beneficiary schemes for women, and highlight achievements under the Mohan Yadav-led BJP government over the past eighteen months.

During his visit to Bhopal, PM Modi will also inaugurate the first phase of the Indore Metro Rail project and the airports in Datia and Satna via video conferencing.
