The meeting, led by Madhya Pradesh BJP chief V. D. Sharma alongside Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and senior leaders including state in-charge Mahendra Singh, involved discussions with party workers assigned specific roles.
Following the meeting, Chief Minister Yadav and BJP chief V. D. Sharma inspected the Jamboree Maidan, the venue for this significant event commemorating the 300th birth anniversary of the revered queen Ahilyabai Holkar.
According to the Chief Minister, this occasion signifies a transformative era for social, cultural, and infrastructural development in Madhya Pradesh, inspired by women’s empowerment through Devi Ahilyabai and guided by the vision of Prime Minister Modi.
"This grand assembly honoring Devi Ahilyabai Holkar will usher in a new chapter of progress for the state. The people of Madhya Pradesh are eager to welcome PM Modi," Yadav remarked during the venue inspection.
As per the BJP’s women's wing, 15,000 women volunteers from 1,300 local units (mandals) have been chosen to greet the Prime Minister. These women will don specially provided sarees in a symbolic sindoor hue, representing both respect and strength.
"The vermilion sarees honor PM Modi and our armed forces, who responded decisively to terrorism after the Pahalgam incident. The party will supply these sarees to the women," stated V. D. Sharma.
In addition to addressing around two lakh women from across Madhya Pradesh, including members of the BJP's women's wing, PM Modi will present several gifts to the state.
He will virtually initiate the bhoomi-pujan for ghat construction along the Kshipra River, part of the preparations for Simhastha 2028.
Furthermore, he will unveil a commemorative postage stamp and a Rs 300 coin dedicated to Devi Ahilyabai, and virtually inaugurate two airports along with the Indore Railway Metro.
