During the session held at the State Secretariat, Yadav highlighted that these institutions must not only ensure essential amenities but also instill discipline, cultural heritage, and a profound sense of national pride in the students.

“It is essential to create a positive environment that emphasizes both academic rigor and patriotism in our hostels and ashrams. These establishments are vital in shaping the future of our tribal youth,” asserted Yadav.

He recommended the inclusion of social and voluntary organizations, such as the Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Gayatri Parivar, in the oversight and management of these facilities to enhance their operational effectiveness.

These facilities comprise pre-matric, post-matric, and college hostels. They also feature libraries, academic assistance, sports amenities, and a structured environment designed to promote safe, inclusive, and comprehensive educational growth, particularly for students hailing from remote and disadvantaged areas.

Attendees at the review meeting included senior officials such as Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Neeraj Mandloi, and Principal Secretary of Tribal Affairs Gulshan Bamra.

The meeting aimed to enhance infrastructure, reinforce management practices, and ensure that hostels and ashrams transform into secure and enriching environments for students' holistic development.
