Indore, March 28 (NationPress) On March 29, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister, Mohan Yadav, will engage in crucial activities in Indore, including the launch of the 'Launchpad: Incubation and Innovation Centre'. This centre has been collaboratively established by the Indian Institute of Technology Indore and the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation at the Sinhasa IT Park.
The Chief Minister will visit the Launchpad Centre, where he will be informed about the innovative and startup initiatives being undertaken there.
This centre is anticipated to significantly contribute to transforming Madhya Pradesh into a focal point for deep-tech innovation and entrepreneurship.
Subsequently, Yadav will take part in the Sankalp Se Samadhan Abhiyan program at Dussehra Maidan, addressing recipients of various prominent government schemes.
This initiative is part of a campaign that has been rolled out in four phases from January 12 to March 31, 2026, across the district, offering over 100 services from governmental departments.
During this event, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the fourth phase of the Narmada water supply project, estimated at a cost of Rs 1,356 crore.
The objective of this project is to enhance the city’s water supply infrastructure to cater to the growing demands, including those anticipated for the population by 2040.
This initiative falls under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation 2.0 scheme and will be executed in multiple phases, each with designated completion deadlines.
Additionally, Yadav will inaugurate a modern Sewage Treatment Plant with a capacity of 20 million litres per day in the Sirpur area.
Constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 62.72 crore, this plant aims to intercept ten major sewer outfalls, preventing untreated sewage from entering the pond directly.
The processed water will be utilized for irrigating around 25 gardens and green spaces across the city, along with other purposes.
