Bhopal, April 25 (NationPress) An unidentified object descended from the sky onto a residence in the Thakur Baba Colony region of Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district, causing a wave of panic.

Thankfully, the family inside the house remained unharmed.

Initial investigations indicate that the object may be debris from an aircraft, a theory supported by the presence of a peculiar item found nearby.

"The incident took place around 11:30 a.m., resulting in a loud explosion that startled the community. The unidentified object struck a house close to Thakur Baba Mandir in Pichhor tehsil, significantly damaging the front of the building," stated Jitendra Mawai, station in-charge of Kolaras, in an interview with IANS.

A local resident described the explosion as intense, with the shockwave echoing throughout the vicinity.

During the incident, the family was engaged in their daily routines—some were cooking while others were dining—yet, miraculously, no injuries were reported despite the chaos. Experts from the Maharajpura Air Force Station have been summoned to investigate the matter.

"Only they can identify the object and advise on the next steps," the officer noted.

The airbase, located in Gwalior, is approximately 115 kilometers from Shivpuri. Meanwhile, law enforcement has cordoned off the area, deploying a significant police presence to maintain order amid growing concerns. Although investigators lean towards the idea that it might be a piece of an aircraft, the true nature of the object remains uncertain.

Interestingly, this event is not unprecedented. Two years ago, shiny, spherical objects inexplicably fell from the sky, igniting curiosity and concern in parts of Gwalior and Shivpuri. These unusual items, speculated to be fragments of rockets or satellites, were thoroughly examined by experts, although no definitive results were ever revealed.

One of these spheres reportedly landed in a field at Jaura Shyampur village in Gwalior's Bhitarwar area.
