Bhopal, May 21 (NationPress) In an effort to raise awareness about tuberculosis and bolster its battle against this age-old disease, the government of Madhya Pradesh initiated the 'Ni-Kshay' campaign on Wednesday.
The launch event took place at the Sandipani Auditorium in Raj Bhavan, attended by Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Also present was Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, who oversees the Health and Family Welfare portfolio.
During the commencement of the 100-day campaign, Governor Patel highlighted the significance of infection control and the necessity of complete and timely treatment to eradicate TB.
He recognized the hurdles posed by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and commended the introduction of the Healthy Liver Mission, urging the public to embrace healthier lifestyles and participate in basic liver screenings.
