Prayagraj, Feb 25 (NationPress) As the Maha Kumbh Mela nears its grand conclusion, the influx of devotees remains relentless. Although the significant bathing festivals have wrapped up, the fervor of devotion persists, with pilgrims converging at the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati to engage in their ritualistic bathing.

A continuous stream of groups arriving from various states and nations is evident, including a contingent of 1,000 devotees from Karnataka who made their way to Prayagraj on Monday. Their presence further signifies the immense appreciation directed towards the remarkable provisions established for the millions participating in this historic spiritual gathering.

The pilgrims, journeying from remote areas of Karnataka, shared their heartfelt gratitude for the government's considerate arrangements, ensuring that they have access to comfortable facilities — ranging from bathing areas and meditation spots to food and shelter. They expressed particular gratitude towards the Adani Group and ISKCON, who have been pivotal in managing food and accommodation for the pilgrims.

Kavita, a devotee from Karnataka, recounted her experience to IANS, stating, "The arrangements here are truly remarkable. After our long journey, we were exhausted, but we were provided with delicious food and a comfortable place to rest. We feel truly blessed to be here, and I would like to extend my thanks to the Adani Group for their generosity in providing such quality food. I also want to express my gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for ensuring everything is so well-organised. We never imagined that we would receive such a warm welcome."

Another devotee, Jayant, lauded the initiatives of the Adani Group and ISKCON for addressing the needs of the pilgrims.

"Adani and ISKCON have made this experience so much simpler for everyone. They’ve not only been supplying food but also a sense of comfort and security. We genuinely appreciate all their hard work aimed at making this journey easier and more memorable for us," he remarked.

For Praveen, visiting the Maha Kumbh for the first time, the experience was breathtaking.

"This is my first Maha Kumbh, and I'm amazed by the hospitality. The Adani Group and ISKCON have truly exceeded our expectations. The facilities, the food, the shelter — everything has been provided in the best way possible. We are incredibly thankful to them for this support," he shared.

Saumya Ragi, a devotee from Nepal who is part of a 1,000-strong group, echoed similar thoughts, stating, "We are receiving excellent facilities from both ISKCON and the Adani Group. It has been an unforgettable experience, and we are grateful for their care and generosity."

Ram Kishore Das, an ISKCON priest, detailed the scale of their operations during the Maha Kumbh.

"Every day, ISKCON and Adani Group collaborate to provide food to lakhs of individuals. Recently, we received a call from the District Magistrate, Ravinder Ji, notifying us of a large group from Karnataka."

He stressed the importance of ensuring these pilgrims feel welcomed and comfortable, despite their journey from the South to the North.

"We coordinated with the administration and the Adani team to guarantee they were welcomed at the station and transported here. Following their bath at the Sangam, they were offered Prasad and Maha Prasad — traditional meals like daal, roti, sabzi, puris, and halwa, all prepared using pure desi ghee and mustard oil. The devotees were overjoyed, and we could see the gratitude in their eyes. They genuinely appreciated the quality of food and the warmth with which they were served."

He added, "The food prepared by ISKCON is not just sustenance; it’s an offering to God. The Prasad we distribute is blessed at the confluence of Prayag, and we are honored to serve the pilgrims in this sacred space. We are equally blessed to have the opportunity to serve them and thank them for their kind words and blessings."

As the Maha Kumbh Mela comes to a close, the ambiance in Prayagraj remains filled with unity and devotion. The final 'Amrit Snan' is scheduled for February 26, 2025, marking the culmination of this monumental spiritual event.
