Maharashtra Government Reassigns 12 Bureaucrats

Mumbai, Jan 2 (NationPress) The Maharashtra government has executed a significant administrative overhaul by transferring 12 bureaucrats on Thursday.
The additional chief secretary of the forest department, B. Venugopal Reddy, has been reassigned, with the additional chief secretary of the higher and technical education department stepping in to replace the current principal secretary, Vikas Rastogi.
Rastogi will now serve as the principal secretary of agriculture and animal husbandry.
Milind Mhaiskar, the additional chief secretary of the public health department, is now appointed as the additional chief secretary of the forest department, a position where he has prior experience.
Harshdeep Kamble, who was recently assigned as the general manager of Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST), has now been appointed as the principal secretary of the social justice department.
The managing director of the Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation, Jayashree Bhoj, has been designated as the secretary of food and civil supply and consumer protection.
I.A. Kundan, formerly principal secretary of the Department of School Education and Sports, has been reassigned as principal secretary of the Labour Department.
The current principal secretary of the labour department, Vinita Singal, will now take on the role of principal secretary of environment and climate change.
HS Sonawane, previously the state inspector general of stamps and registration, has been appointed as the commissioner of sports and youth.
The secretary of the public health department, Nipun Vinayak, has been assigned as the project director for the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA).
