Kolkata, Jan 25 (NationPress) On National Voters' Day, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticized the Election Commission of India for purportedly infringing upon the voting rights of the citizens of West Bengal under the guise of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative.
In a post on her X handle, Banerjee remarked, "Today, while the Election Commission of India is celebrating National Voters' Day, it is quite a tragic farce! The Commission, acting as His Master's Voice, is engaged in stripping away the voting rights of the populace, yet they have the audacity to commemorate Voters' Day!
