During the investiture, Governor Bhalla presented Governor's Citations to outstanding units of the Army, Assam Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Border Roads Task Force (BRTF), and Manipur Police in recognition of their exemplary service.
Recipients of the Governor's Unit Citation 2026 include 19 Garhwal Rifles, 17 Assam Rifles, 38 Assam Rifles, 40 Assam Rifles, 2 Mahar Regiment, 25 BRTF, District Police of Senapati, Churachandpur District Police, 10 BSF, and 143 CRPF.
Senior Officials in Attendance
The ceremony was attended by a Member of Parliament, MLAs, and senior civil, military and police officials. Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho, Home Minister Konthoujam Govindas Singh, and Tourism Minister Khuraijam Loken Singh were also present.
