Patna, Jan 21 (NationPress) Former Bihar Chief Minister and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi voiced his dissatisfaction with the Modi administration during an event in Munger on Tuesday. In his speech, Manjhi even hinted at the possibility of resigning from the Cabinet, claiming that his party was not receiving adequate recognition within the NDA.

However, later at the Patna airport, Manjhi clarified his statements in a media interaction, asserting that he harbored no issues with the NDA. Manjhi remarked, “The position I hold, which has been entrusted to me by Narendra Modi, is not a trivial matter. I stand firmly with the NDA for the upcoming Delhi elections.”

In Munger, Manjhi articulated his frustration, stating that his party was not being granted sufficient acknowledgment within the NDA. He highlighted that in Jharkhand previously, and now in the Delhi Assembly elections, his party had not been allotted any seats.

He commented that it felt essential to assert their strength. Manjhi stated on stage, "When people support us, when I have votes, why were we not allocated a seat? I need to pose this question. Our position is clear; based on our strength, we merit a seat. We are not requesting seats for ourselves but for the welfare of Dalits."

He further noted, "If my concerns remain unaddressed, it appears I may need to exit the Modi Cabinet."

Moreover, Manjhi addressed comments made by Chirag Paswan and Prashant Kishor concerning the BPSC exams. He stated, "I am unaware of Chirag Paswan's political stance, but regarding the BPSC candidates, the Bihar government has been very fair to these students. Out of 912 centers, 911 conducted the exams successfully. When there was an error at one center, the exam was retaken. If some students are staging hunger strikes, they are engaging in politics. The decisions of the Bihar government and the Commission are entirely justified."
