Hyderabad, Jan 29 (NationPress) Elections for three seats from the graduates’ and teachers’ constituencies in the Legislative Councils of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will take place on February 27, as announced by the Election Commission of India on Wednesday.
The terms of three members from the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council (two from Graduates' and one from Teachers' constituency) and three members from the Telangana Legislative Council (one from Graduates' and two from Teachers' constituencies) are set to expire on March 29, 2025, due to the retirement of the current members.
According to the schedule released by the Election Commission, the notification for the polls will be issued on February 3.
Candidates can submit their nominations until February 10, with scrutiny of these nominations scheduled for the following day. The final date for withdrawal of candidatures is February 13.
