Kanpur, May 30 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on Friday that India will respond with full force in the event of any terrorist actions on its territory. He also highlighted three guiding principles that have emerged as India's strategy in combating terrorism following Operation Sindoor.
While addressing a significant gathering in Kanpur, PM Modi stated, "I want to reiterate that the adversary who was seeking mercy during Operation Sindoor should not harbor any misconceptions. This is far from over."
The Prime Minister elaborated that India has distinctly defined three principles in its ongoing battle against terror.
"India will deliver a strong retaliation to every act of terrorism – the timing, method, and terms of response will be determined by our armed forces. We will no longer be intimidated or tolerate nuclear threats from Pakistan. Finally, we will scrutinize both the masterminds of terror and the governments that support them with the same critical eye," he noted.
He issued a stern warning, stating, "Pakistan's strategy of employing state and non-state actors will no longer be effective."
PM Modi also addressed the tragic loss of Kanpur's own Shubham Dwivedi, who fell victim to a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, expressing that the entire nation stands united in sharing the grief, pain, and anger felt by his wife, Aishnya.
The Prime Minister remarked that Operation Sindoor has showcased the strength of India's indigenous and Made in India weaponry to the global audience.
"Our Indian weaponry and the BrahMos missile successfully penetrated enemy territory and caused significant destruction. Targeted strikes were executed precisely where they were intended. This power comes from our commitment to a self-reliant India," he asserted.
Earlier, the Prime Minister met with the widow of the deceased businessman, assuring her that the entire nation supports her and her family during this challenging time.
