New Delhi, May 22 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the Indian armed forces delivered a decisive lesson to Pakistan in response to the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam. He emphasized that 'Operation Sindoor' brought the enemy nation to its knees within a few hours.
While addressing a rally in Bikaner, Rajasthan, PM Modi stated, "Terrorists attempted to erase the sindoor of our sisters by murdering their husbands, targeting them based on religion. For this vile act, they and their handlers received a fitting response from our forces."
"In retaliation for the April 22 assault in Pahalgam, our forces obliterated terrorist bases across the border in just 22 minutes. Nine significant terror infrastructures were completely destroyed in this time frame," PM Modi noted, underscoring the effectiveness and importance of 'Operation Sindoor'.
"The entire world witnessed the consequences when sindoor turns into gunpowder," he exclaimed, as the crowd erupted in cheers, chanting Modi-Modi.
PM Modi's visit to Bikaner also rekindled memories of his 2019 address in Churu, a town near the India-Pakistan border, where he spoke for the first time after the Balakot airstrikes in response to the Pulwama terror attack.
Reflecting on his 2019 speech, PM Modi remarked, "Five years ago, when the Indian Air Force executed the Balakot airstrikes, my initial public address took place in a border region in Rajasthan. Upon my return after the Air Force's actions, I declared, 'Saugandh mujhe mitti ki, main desh nahin mitne doonga, main desh nahin jhukne doonga.'"
"Now, after Operation Sindoor, I am delivering my first public address in the border region of Bikaner, Rajasthan," he added, asserting that India's adversaries will now face consequences beyond their expectations.
"This represents a new form of justice – yeh Operation Sindoor hai," PM Modi proclaimed.
