Bengaluru, Aug 15 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through BJP volunteers, has successfully brought the Tricolour of our nation into every household, enlightening the youth about the significance of Independence, asserted Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, on Friday.
During the flag hoisting ceremony at the BJP state office, Jagannath Bhavan, on the 79th Independence Day, Narayanaswamy emphasized the necessity for the younger generation to grasp the true essence of Independence.
“Motivated by Prime Minister Modi, our leaders and party workers nationwide have spread the message through the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign’,” he remarked.
Narayanaswamy highlighted the contributions of Babasaheb Ambedkar, who provided India with a robust and commendable Constitution that guarantees equal rights and opportunities for all. He stated, “Both the Indian Constitution and our national Tricolour are invaluable to us.”
“If it weren't for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), we might have faced a fate similar to Pakistan or Bangladesh,” he noted.
Former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA C.N. Ashwath Narayan remarked that prioritizing caste, religion, and language over the nation is detrimental, as it could undermine national unity. He stressed that every Indian should possess the clarity that the nation comes first.
Addressing the numerous challenges the country faces, he emphasized the need to prioritize knowledge, quality education, technology, and skill development for progress.
“A nation rich in human resources is bound for a bright future. Prime Minister Modi has conveyed this message and is actively pursuing it,” Ashwath Narayan asserted.
Present at the event were BJP MP P.C. Mohan, State General Secretary Preetham Gowda, State Secretary Lakshmi Ashwin Gowda, State Chief Spokesperson Ashwath Narayan, former MLC A.H. Shivyogiswamy, and several party leaders and workers.
