New Delhi, March 17 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially joined the social media platform Truth Social, which is owned by US President Donald Trump, after the American leader shared a link to a podcast featuring Modi. The video showcased a conversation between Prime Minister Modi and esteemed US podcaster and computer scientist Lex Fridman.

In response to President Trump’s post, PM Modi conveyed his thanks for promoting the podcast.

"Thrilled to be on Truth Social! I eagerly anticipate engaging with the enthusiastic voices here and having significant dialogues in the near future," PM Modi stated in his post on the platform.

He went on to say: "Thank you, my friend, President Trump. I discussed a variety of subjects, including my personal journey, India’s cultural perspective, global challenges, and much more."

This marks Prime Minister Modi's inaugural interaction on Truth Social, a platform that is often utilized by President Trump. The presence of the Prime Minister on this platform signifies the strong relationship between the two leaders.

The podcast, which lasts three hours, features an in-depth dialogue between PM Modi and Lex Fridman, and was shared by President Trump on his social media platform earlier on Monday.

Trump’s promotion of the podcast was interpreted as a show of support for the Indian leader. The discussion provides insight into PM Modi’s life experiences and viewpoints on global affairs, including his personal reflections on his friendship with Trump.

During the podcast, PM Modi commended President Trump’s “humility” and “resilience”, highlighting the American leader's evolution and readiness in his second term compared to the first.

"Despite facing an assassination attempt during his campaign for the presidency last year, Trump exhibited unwavering dedication to America," PM Modi remarked.

He also pointed out their shared vision regarding their dedication to their nations. "His life was dedicated to his country. His reflections embodied his America First ethos, just as I embody India First. That’s why we connect so well. These principles truly resonate," PM Modi shared during his conversation with Fridman.

The amicable relationship between President Trump and Prime Minister Modi has been apparent in recent months. The two leaders met last month during PM Modi's visit to the White House, where President Trump referred to him as a “tough negotiator” in their friendly discussion.
