"It was a pleasure to connect with my dear friend, President Donald Trump. I congratulated him on his momentous second term. We are committed to a mutually beneficial and trusted partnership and will collaborate for the betterment of our citizens and the pursuit of global peace, prosperity, and security," PM Modi shared on X following their discussion.
This marks the inaugural dialogue between the two leaders since President Trump assumed office last week.
On January 20, PM Modi extended his congratulations to Trump on his re-election to the White House for a significant second term.
