Bengaluru, Aug 10 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended the youth of Karnataka, especially those from Bengaluru, for their significant contributions in providing advanced technology to the Indian Armed Forces. This innovation played a crucial role in subduing Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.

He spoke to attendees at the IIIT Auditorium in Electronics City, Bengaluru, following the laying of the foundation stone for the Metro Phase 3 project on Sunday.

Prime Minister Modi remarked, “This is my first visit to Bengaluru post-Operation Sindoor. The Indian Armed Forces executed Operation Sindoor by penetrating deep into Pakistani territory and dismantling terrorist camps.”

He pointed out that the newly launched Yellow Line Metro Service will link essential areas in Bengaluru, providing convenience for lakhs of commuters. “Once the Orange Line (Metro Phase 3) is operational, alongside the Yellow Line, 25 lakh commuters will travel daily. This will elevate Bengaluru’s transport infrastructure to new levels,” he expressed.

The Prime Minister also acknowledged the contributions of the Infosys Foundation, Biocon, and other organizations in the development of Metro stations. “Their CSR initiatives are exemplary, and I thank the corporate sector for their support,” he said.
