New Delhi, Oct 29 (NationPress) Preparations are in full swing in Ayodhya for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forthcoming visit to the Ram Mandir, where he is set to hoist the flag during a significant ceremony.
The Chairman of the Building Construction Committee, Nripendra Misra, provided insights into the current progress on the temple's completion and the Prime Minister’s visit after a review meeting.
Misra stated, “In our recent meeting, we discussed the Prime Minister’s agenda. He will hoist the flag at the temple, and if possible, visit the Parikota to admire the murals.”
“Preparations are being made, keeping in mind the interests in the Sapt Mandir and the sages’ ashrams. The Shaheed Memorial pillar will be made of metal, the old temple will be preserved, and symbolic lighting will be included. Our goal is to ensure that the temple is entirely completed by 2025, with a visit planned for November,” he added.
Previously, regarding the arrangements for the ceremony, he explained, “Devotees will not be permitted for darshan on November 25. Only invited guests will have the chance to see the Lord, with arrangements being made for approximately 8,000 invitees.”
“Devotees will be allowed for darshan starting the following day. As for whether devotees will have unrestricted access without security checks in all areas, the trust is considering this. My ongoing effort is to ensure that everything constructed here is dedicated to the devotees,” he mentioned.
The Ram Mandir Trust has been diligently coordinating the event logistics, focusing on security, seating, and ceremonial arrangements for dignitaries and guests.
The metal Shaheed Memorial pillar, preservation of the old temple structure, and symbolic lighting are among the elements being finalised to enhance the spiritual and cultural significance of the site.
The flag-hoisting ceremony on November 25 is expected to serve as a major milestone in the temple’s development, symbolising the nearing completion of construction ahead of its full opening in 2025.
