Bhopal, May 12 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's words will impact Pakistan much like the missiles launched by the Indian armed forces during Operation Sindoor.
“This time is not for terrorism, and Pakistan must understand this. PM Modi's address today marks the beginning of India’s new stance against terrorism. His speech has invigorated the citizens with joy and courage,” remarked the Chief Minister in response to PM Modi’s national address.
In a compelling address, PM Modi expressed profound sorrow over the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, describing it as a horrific act that impacted both the nation and the global community.
The Prime Minister articulated that Operation Sindoor signifies India’s new strategy against terrorism.
“Following surgical strikes and airstrikes, Operation Sindoor is now our policy against terrorism. This operation has established a new precedent… should India face an attack, we will respond decisively, on our own terms,” PM Modi asserted, reaffirming India's unwavering commitment to confront terrorism.
He also mentioned that while India had temporarily halted its retaliatory actions against Pakistan’s terrorist and military installations, the government was vigilantly monitoring Pakistan’s activities.
“We have only briefly paused our counteractions against Pakistan’s terrorist and military sites. In the upcoming days, we will evaluate every step taken by Pakistan based on their conduct,” PM Modi stated.
During his address, the Prime Minister emphasized that India’s armed forces have been granted full autonomy to respond.
“We have empowered our armed forces to eradicate terrorism. Today, every terrorist and terror group is aware of the consequences when they attempt to harm our sisters and daughters,” PM Modi remarked.
The Prime Minister’s address delivered a direct and assertive message to Pakistan, reinforcing that India will steadfastly oppose terrorism and hold Pakistan accountable for its role in promoting terror across borders.
These comments underscored India's readiness to act decisively against terrorism whenever necessary, marking a pivotal moment in India's counterterrorism strategy as PM Modi affirmed that terrorism will not be tolerated and Pakistan will be held responsible for its actions.
