Bhopal/Pandhurna, April 2 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, officially kicked off the initial phase of the “Shri Hanuman Lok” initiative at Jam Sawli Dham in the Pandhurna tehsil of Chhindwara district, aligning with the celebrations of Chaitra Navratri and Hanuman Jayanti.

During the inauguration, CM Yadav hailed Lord Hanuman as the epitome of strength, wisdom, humility, and devoted service, emphasizing that true power is found not in arrogance but in total dedication to one's duties.

“Hanuman Ji motivates us to pursue our objectives through relentless effort, mental focus, and discipline,” he stated.

According to the Chief Minister, Shri Hanuman Lok is more than just a spiritual endeavor; it marks a significant advancement in religious tourism within the state.

Spanning nearly 30 acres, this initiative is being executed by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department in partnership with the temple trust.

This development will elevate Pandhurna, already recognized for its orange cultivation, as a notable site on Madhya Pradesh’s spiritual map, alongside renowned religious locations like Mahakal Lok in Ujjain.

In tandem with this project, the government is also creating multiple other devotional corridors across the state, including Ahilya Lok in Maheshwar, Pashupatinath Lok in Mandsaur, Pitambara Mai Mahalok in Datia, and Maa Narmada Mahalok in Amarkantak.

The first phase of Shri Hanuman Lok showcases a magnificent main entrance, a grand entrance plaza, and the newly built ‘Chiranjeevi Path’ — a pathway adorned with statues representing various divine manifestations of Hanuman Ji, leading to the temple.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister revealed plans for the second phase of the project, projected to cost Rs 65.24 crore, which will commence soon.

This phase will encompass the creation of a Bhakti Sagar (devotional lake), a discourse hall, yagyashala, a Sanskrit college, a bhojshala (community kitchen), dharmashala (pilgrim rest house), and parking amenities.

Additionally, a 10-bed hospital for visiting devotees is also in the pipeline.

Previously, during Ram Navami, the Chief Minister conducted bhoomi pujan for 33 development projects valued at Rs 251.18 crore and inaugurated 31 projects worth Rs 111.63 crore in the Pandhurna region, bringing the total investment to over Rs 362 crore, including Shri Hanuman Lok.

Significant announcements included the establishment of new offices for the Collector, Superintendent of Police, District Panchayat, and Janpad Panchayat, a women’s police station, a 10-acre indoor-outdoor stadium, and an Agricultural Development Centre in Sausar.
