Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Chhindwara, March 25 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to launch the Hanuman Lok project, initiated by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department, during his visit to Chhindwara district in celebration of Ram Navami on March 26.
Covering approximately 30 acres, this corridor aims to become a prominent religious tourism hub within the state.
The project expands upon the existing Jam Sawali Hanuman temple and integrates cutting-edge technology with age-old traditions.
The foundation was laid by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan prior to the 2023 Assembly elections.
This grand religious initiative, which will be rolled out in several phases, is set to include numerous statues and depictions of Lord Hanuman, featuring a sculpture of his child form in the initial courtyard.
A Sanjivani Path will also be created for the circumambulation of the sacred Ramtekri mountain, as per the plans shared by the state government during the project's announcement in 2023.
During his Chhindwara visit, Chief Minister Yadav will also inaugurate over 100 completed development projects valued at Rs 506.29 crore.
At this event, he will electronically transfer financial support to beneficiaries under the Sambal and pension programs throughout the state.
Noteworthy projects included in the inauguration are an office for the Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation worth Rs 69.49 crore, a Collector’s Office, a District Hospital, and a Superintendent of Police (SP) Office in the newly established district of Pandhurna.
These facilities will enhance administrative, healthcare, and law enforcement services within the district, thereby improving access for citizens.
It is significant to note that Pandhurna officially became the 55th district of Madhya Pradesh in October 2023, created from the Chhindwara district.
This new district was established by merging the Pandhurna and Sausar tehsils to bolster administrative efficiency.
