Prior to his departure for Kolkata early this morning, Chief Minister Yadav expressed that, through the vision of 'reform, perform and transform', Madhya Pradesh is poised to emerge as a prime destination for investment thanks to its youthful spirit and industry-friendly policies.
“In this endeavor, I will be engaging with investors during an interactive session focused on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh at a hotel in Kolkata,” Chief Minister Yadav shared on X.
At the Kolkata session, a particular focus will be on investment prospects at 'PM Mitra Park', which is being developed in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, near Indore.
PM-MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Parks are a government initiative aimed at bolstering the textile industry by creating integrated, large-scale industrial infrastructure. The objective of these parks is to attract investments, generate employment, and enhance export potential by consolidating the entire textile value chain in one location.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for this significant project on September 17, as announced by the Chief Minister on Monday.
The state government indicated that during the meeting, investors will receive insights on investment-ready projects, integrated land banks, industrial corridors, plug-and-play infrastructure, and 18 newly implemented investment policies.
The session is designed to highlight Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly climate and robust infrastructure under the 'Ease of Doing Business' initiative.
A film titled 'Infinite Possibilities in Madhya Pradesh' will be showcased at the event, illustrating the state's industrial advancements, top-tier infrastructure, and investment-friendly ecosystem.
This film is intended to familiarize industry stakeholders with the available opportunities and benefits for investment in Madhya Pradesh.
