Bhopal, Feb 2 (NationPress) The Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Rajendra Shukla, convened a meeting on Monday to address crucial matters concerning the enhancement of health services in the state, infrastructure advancements, the availability of medical personnel, and the elevation of medical education quality. This meeting took place with high-ranking officials from relevant departments in Bhopal.

As per official reports, the proposals reviewed included the recruitment of medical assistants, staffing in government hospitals, and necessary infrastructural improvements for upgrading health institutions across the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Shukla emphasized that all initiatives must be executed efficiently, transparently, and within a set timeframe to ensure ongoing enhancements in the quality of health services.

During the meeting, he instructed the state health department to finalize a proposal aimed at providing additional incentives to promote the hiring of teaching staff in medical colleges situated in remote areas.

Senior BJP leader, Rajendra Shukla, who oversees the Public Health and Medical Education sector in the Madhya Pradesh government, stated that the proposal for incentivizing teaching staff in medical colleges located in remote areas will soon be submitted for the state Cabinet's approval.

He highlighted that having qualified teaching personnel in remote locations is vital for ensuring quality medical education.

While tackling inter-departmental challenges during the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Shukla insisted on establishing coordination among the relevant departments and completing necessary formalities as a priority to avoid delays in implementing the schemes.

He also instructed that proposals regarding the availability of advanced equipment in tertiary care facilities under CM Cares, along with the necessary staffing, be prioritized.

"Enhancing tertiary care services for serious medical conditions is essential so that every citizen has access to high-quality medical services in all regions of the state," stated Deputy CM Shukla.

Additionally, he mentioned that the three newly sanctioned medical colleges in Damoh, Chhatarpur, and Budhni are set to commence operations from the upcoming semester, and the recruitment process for the requisite teaching staff should be finalized promptly.

The meeting also included an in-depth discussion on the provisions of the Union Budget, with Deputy Chief Minister directing the health department to devise a comprehensive action plan for the timely and effective use of the allocated budgetary resources.
