Amaravati, April 20 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, celebrated his 76th birthday on Monday by sharing a meal with the less fortunate at Anna Canteen. Accompanied by his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, he opted for a modest celebration in the company of the poor, laborers, and the general public at the Anna Canteen located in Patamata, Vijayawada.
Birthday wishes poured in from beneficiaries at the canteen as the couple served breakfast and warmly interacted with everyone present.
In honor of the Chief Minister's birthday, Nara Bhuvaneswari generously donated Rs 76 lakh to cover the operational costs of all Anna Canteens across the state for that day.

Typically, around 1,013 individuals enjoy meals daily at each Anna Canteen, with a daily operational cost of approximately Rs 26,250.
Chief Minister Naidu recently mentioned that 2.10 lakh people across the state benefit from meals provided by Anna Canteens each day, leading to a daily expenditure exceeding Rs 54 lakh.
Meanwhile, Bhuvaneswari congratulated her husband on his birthday, stating, “Every birth has its purpose. Chandrababu garu was born to serve the Telugu people. More than celebrating his birthday, he finds joy in serving others. I wish him lasting enthusiasm, strength, and good health to continue his service for a century,” on the platform ‘X’.
