Patna, May 22 (NationPress) The National President of Hindustani Awam Morcha and Bihar's Minor Water Resources Minister, Santosh Suman, has launched a fierce critique of the RJD-Congress coalition, accusing them of failing the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) in Bihar.
While addressing the media in Patna, Suman expressed that Rahul Gandhi's comments labeling the Bihar caste survey as “fake” and “self-reported” have profoundly disrespected the communities that the opposition party purports to represent.
“By questioning the credibility of the caste survey, Rahul Gandhi has not only humiliated the dignity of backward and extremely backward groups but has also sparked political discord within the RJD, which often claims credit for uplifting backward communities,” Suman stated.
He emphasized that the NDA has genuinely empowered marginalized populations in Bihar.
Suman cited the 20 percent reservation allocated to EBCs in panchayat and municipal elections, which has facilitated greater representation at the grassroots level.
“This initiative has markedly improved democratic involvement and social empowerment of backward communities,” he remarked.
He also acknowledged the NDA administration for incorporating castes such as Teli and Halwai into the EBC category, thereby enhancing their political visibility and opportunities for development.
Suman criticized the Congress and RJD for their long-standing neglect of Jananayak Karpoori Thakur, contrasting it with the Bharat Ratna bestowed upon him by the Narendra Modi administration as a sign of respect towards backward communities.
“While RJD and Congress overlooked him for 36 years, the NDA government honored him appropriately, reaffirming their dedication to social justice,” he added.
In a compelling political statement, Suman urged voters to remember the “terror and fear” associated with the RJD-Congress rule, asserting that only the NDA champions 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and has secured the trust of Dalit, tribal, and backward communities.
