New Delhi, Sep 18 (NationPress) The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has requested a report from the Uttar Pradesh government and the state police chief within a two-week timeframe regarding the disturbing incident where a woman was allegedly set on fire by a group of individuals in Farrukhabad district, as stated by an official on Thursday.
The NHRC's directive follows its suo motu cognizance of a media report concerning the tragic incident that occurred on September 6, according to the official's statement.
