New Delhi, Nov 2 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi energized the political landscape in Bihar on Sunday with a dynamic campaign spree, featuring two consecutive rallies in Arrah and Nawada, followed by a grand roadshow in Patna, the NDA coalition was infused with optimism, recognizing a strong momentum in their favor as the Assembly elections draw near.
In Patna, members of the Nishad community engaged in a traditional ritual, offering fish as a gesture to attract good fortune for PM Modi and the NDA.
“Before embarking on any new endeavor, a ‘jatra’ is performed with curd and fish. Today, we conducted his ‘jatra’ to ensure his success,” expressed a supporter to IANS, emphasizing that the Nishads would support NDA leader Hari Sahni and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Another supporter reiterated the belief that they “presented fish to the Prime Minister so that he can form his government once more,” confidently stating, “The NDA will triumph, and Nitish Kumar will assume the Chief Minister’s role again.”
As PM Modi's convoy traversed Patna, crowds gathered along the streets, waving flags and showering petals in admiration.
BJP leader Sushma Sahu commended the Prime Minister’s “unmatched energy,” noting that his presence emanated a sense of spiritual strength. “Only God knows the essence from which he is made… even after numerous events, the glow on his face reflects no weariness,” she remarked.
Bihar BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal confidently proclaimed that the NDA would reclaim power with a two-thirds majority, attributing this to the “strong public trust” in the Modi-Nitish partnership’s development initiatives.
RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha echoed this optimism, highlighting the “lakhs of people” who assembled as a clear sign of support for the BJP-led coalition.
LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Hulas Pandey stated that Modi’s presence had reinvigorated NDA workers and voters, asserting that the electorate would grant the coalition “maximum seats.”
As the campaign heats up and traditional support bases mobilize, the BJP and its allies are banking on PM Modi’s charisma to transform crowd enthusiasm into votes, aiming to restore the NDA’s governance in Bihar.
